Our New Place!

Since we've had a few requests for pictures of our new apartment, I decided to just give in instead of waiting until we were completely settled in lol. So you will have to forgive all the boxes and whatnot!
Anyways, we've been here for a week and we are loving it! Even though we downsized from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom, it feels more like home at this place. Mostly because I can actually decorate here and make it my own instead of living around the intense oriental furnishings in our last place! The area is a better fit for us too. There are tons of young married couples in this area and it's so close to everything now! Colin's commute to work went from 25 minutes to about 6 minutes haha. I guess it wasn't too long in the first place, but we're both enjoying the fact that he can sleep in a little longer and come home a little earlier :)

The bathroom! This is the only room I've attempted to decorate so far, hence multiple pictures lol. It's not done yet, but I like how it's turning out. I didn't plan on it being this girly though haha sorry Colin..

Our bedroom. We found a great deal for a package that came with all of this (besides the TV.) I still don't know how much I like the comforter, but it came with all of this so I couldn't say no!

Dining area. Pretty pathetic right now, but I have plans for this guy.

The kitchen. This area was where we noticed the downsize the most. Storage here is pretty limited but we've made do by buying extra shelves and whatnot!

The living room. It's by far the messiest in this room, my bad ;)

The newest addition to the house, our entertainment center! Colin spends all of his time here since he has a pretty good setup. I have to say I'm probably enjoying it just as much as he is though...Pride and Prejudice has already been watched on this bad boy a couple times hehe.

Now I just need to finish setting things up and it will really feel like home :) A few decorations couldn't hurt either ;) If anyone needs our new address, just ask and we'll give it to you.
