This year Colin and I thought we were going to spend Thanksgiving Day just the two of us here in California while my whole family was in Utah for a family reunion/Thanksgiving in Heber. I was pretty upset that we were going to miss out on that, but then my parents offered to buy our tickets! Needless to say I was VERY grateful. They received many thank you's from me! So off we went for a few days to a cabin in the mountains.
The weekend turned out a little differently than we expected with my Dad and Aunt crashing their ATV, but many prayers were said and both of them are fine now. A little sore still but it could have been much much worse! Despite the days we spent worrying about them, it was still a great Thanksgiving break. We came with so many blessings and left with even more! Not too shabby for our first thanksgiving as the Jonses ;)
