Our wedding pictures finally came and I am so happy with how they look!! April 27th was the perfect day for a wedding so I'm very glad we ended up with that date. Especially since it was originally planned for a different day which ended up being much sunnier. All in all, the day couldn't have been more perfect for us :)
The morning of was a little more than stressful I would say! Everyone kept asking me if I was nervous, but I never felt nervous like I thought I would mostly because I was too full of stress and excitement to have any other emotions lol. Anyways, I had to be at the temple by 1:30 so I pretty much went straight from my hair and makeup appointment to the temple. Now I look back and am grateful for that otherwise I would've gone crazy just sitting around, but that day it definitely added to the stress lol.
So I got to the temple and everything after that was such a blur! We were sealed by Colin's Dad which was such a special experience and he did a really good job of making me bawl through the whole thing lol.
After the sealing we took pictures and then left for our reception. On the way there I started feeling sick and once we finally got to the venue I felt like dying haha. I forgot to eat or drink anything all day plus I made sure the dress seamstress made my dress extra tight, so it was definitely not the best I've ever felt. I had to play up the dramatic bride somehow though ;) On top of that, we ended up being half an hour late to the reception because of traffic and because we stopped to get some food for me. Sadly we had a pretty tight schedule for the night and that threw it off, but those were the only problems that night. Things could have been much worse and we were grateful that the rest of the night was more than perfect :)
So here are a few pictures of what the reception looked like. We spent SO many hours perfecting these so they deserve to be noticed!!
I have to give all the credit to my Mom for putting the reception together. She did an amazing job making my obscure random ideas come together as well as collaborating a few genius ideas of her own! Maybe a future event planner in the making? ;)
Now I HAVE to include some of the wedding photos I absolutely love.
I used Strandy Dimple Photography as my photographer and I'm so glad I made that choice! The first four were taken by her, and the last two were taken by her assistant photographer, Cami Hogan who is also an amazing photographer! These two ladies did a great job.
So that was our day! Definitely the best day of my life so far, but I know even better days are ahead of me with my sweet Colin :) THE END!
